Television...

Over the past 5 to 10 years, laymen and professional critics alike have questioned the quality of television. Gone are the days when a network allowed a show a length of time to build its audience. Now if a show doesn't capture the public's attention by mid season or sooner, the advertisers abandon ship and the networks support quickly follows.

The advent of Fox, the WB and UPN joining the ranks of the old guard "Big 3", ABC, CBS, and NBC, gave us only a minimal increase in the number of quality television shows available. The new crew in turn has fared little better as they too keep spinning formulaic variations of the same old stuff with few exceptions.

The proliferation of cop shows, talk shows, so called "reality" series specials, live attorney led court room drama, shows headed by judges and even a rapper with her own successful talk show (note Queen Latifah on KTTV Channel 11) have taken to the airways garnering huge viewing numbers but has only served to increase the mediocrity in an already glutted market.

In recent years cable television (HBO, Showtime and Lifetime to name a few) has been stealing the thunder from television taking risks by producing exciting, edgy and gritty material that has entertained and kept the masses talking.

White Tiger Entertainment is well aware of the need to continuously satisfy the public's hunger for outstanding shows that fulfill their expectations and desires. WTE has a wealth of ideas and concepts that will not only capture, but also keep the public's attention.
